Learning how to use a counter IC

Pressing the button provides a "clock" signal to the 74HC93 counter, which then lights the LEDs with the bits in lowest to highest order: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue. A total of 16 (0-15) possible combinations. The 10 ohm resistor prevents too much current from flowing into the IC.
